Those are two different things completely. Zionism is a political movement started relatively recently and not a solely jewish identity as it not supported by many jews either! So please drop the pretence they are they are the same thing.
Its become rather un-fashionable to cry wolf at everything when you know Israeli oppression of palestinians is no different to its dictator (new best) arab pals oppression in the neighbourhood. Maybe they exchange tips with each other on 'how to maintain oppression but pretend to be the victim' conferences.
Also please note for future reference;
Anti semitism is being against the semite race which includes both the authentic jewish and palestinians race. So the anti semite card easily can play out both ways out.
The other thing is.. Jews in israel are not one race. There are many black african jews , white Caucasians jews and jews of various asian backgrounds large flown in en masse to increase the population. So the anti semite card for any criticism of israeli policy doesn't really play out as much!
If u convert to judaism ( as i plan to some day to reclaim my ancestors land lol) u can make aliya to israel with a house and tax free job waiting for u...But that STILL doesn't automatically make you a semite!! So the racism card is a tad hard to play these days.
Livingstone was stating historical facts; there was a time hitler did consider a deal to expel jews to the holy land... But changed his mind later on.... so all this hallabaloo is actually a red herring to bring livingstone down and smear corbyn..
Its actually a very common tactic. They tried it on corbyn (his meeting with hamas is brought up everyday even though their crimes r miniscule in comparison to israel) but no one believes them so they target people around him who are outspoken in support of palestine.
Tomorrow is al quds day march in support of palestine in central london....the media tries hard to ignore it but it has grown into a huge multi faith ( jews included) n background event. There are three pro- oppression organisations doing a counter protest at the same time.. if anyone is interested please do attend to stand with the palestinians and the oppressed everywhere.
