how much one can earn while doing his/her one year masters from UK.
when i say earn i mean that can a student generate enough to pay for his fees by working along side studies. If yes then how much and at the cost of how many hours per week.
Also what are the ideal jobs the student (an international who is paying around ten to fifteen thousands pounds, for masters tution fees) shuld looks for.
I hope that some serious UK guppies will come up with some serious thougths and guidelines.
Thank you in advance, anticipating good response (which is a rear case in C&A for an ordinary member:clown:)

OK let me put it this way, in a rear case the response may be quite good and you may be able to earn a lot of money in your first year.

I too as worrying over the financing of my masters. I already had to delay my entry to 2006 due to finance reasons. Banks schoff at my requests (I'm doing an arts masters, hopefully)...and so I am in the same boat.

well, an overseas student can not work longer than 20 hours per week ‘legally’ and with the current UK national minimum wage of £4.85 one is expected to make around 400/month pounds (not really enough to live on, speacially in london).
but i have known ppl who have worked longer hours and made enough to keep them ticking over.
as far as the ‘ideal’ job is concerned for students then there isn’t One really. everyone perfers different types of jobs. but one can easily find Store Jobs. importantly they have flexible working hours and can work to your schedule. if you/someone decide to go for an Office job then ofcourse they will have work to on a set timetable and might not suit what they came to do in the first place (Study!).

Thanx Chat Walla bhai.
certainly 400 pounds are not enough when u r trying to pay some of ur fees on ur own as well.
u know what, my fees is 50% more than that of someone in different institution, means i will be paying 15000 pounds to that of 10000 for normal university.
any other advice, plz

^ what MBA course are you planning on doing and from which institution?
I guess the privilage of graduating from a good University is the price one has to pay financially.
