Re: UK General Election (06 May, 2010): Which party will you vote for?
I predict it will be a coalition govt this time around gents, and think more than likely it will be lib dem and labour.
I will be voting Lib Dems, the only party which talks sense.
Talks sense? Really?
Though i'll hand it to Cleggy..."boy did well" on the first election debate....his popularity has surged.
I did not like Blair myself but Brown seems like a decent hard working guy even if he's a bit too serious...
I can't get over Brown's bobbling mouth.
Re: UK General Election (06 May, 2010): Which party will you vote for?
time to bring back john major :)
Re: UK General Election (06 May, 2010): Which party will you vote for?
Na-uh…it’s all about the Thatcher. ![]()
In all seriousness, i’ve been a Labour voter most of my life…but i’m swinging towards Lib Dems… ![]()
I am going to vote for Gordon Brown and Labour Party (have always done so; democrats in the US)
Brown oversaw the financial crisis and I think he has done a reasonable job during a difficult time.
I just cannot stand the Tories (The Conservative **Party). The **name itself is enough for me not to vote for them
too narrow-minded too opportunistic too traditionalist too euro-sceptic too immigration-phobic - While I appreciate that Britain is a small country and they can only absorb so many extra people, Tories like to play the immigration/race card in every general election. The reason for British concern has clearly been the large influx recently of West Indian negroes. The number reached over 50, 000 in 2008. India and Pakistan are not too adversely affected. They have had informal quota arrangements for more than 5 years. These terms can be quickly reinstated. True there is a need to restrict the free flow of immigrants but not everyone is running an off-licence, cabdriving, waitering etc. or on benefits. Quite a significant number of immigrants are skilled and educated - doctors (just look at the NHS), lawyers, businessmen etc. - and contributing to the economy
You think that Gordon Brown will be able to get us out of the mess we're in today?? "Eh, I'm right common just like you" When you've ruined the economy, hospitals, schools, the law and international diplomacy?? There is nothing to be said.
If the Tories win, they'll be, as usual, cleaning up Labour's mess and having to take the blame for the hard times.
PS: The Country is still in a financial crisis, don't think Gordon Brown has 'overseen' anything lol more like 'overlooked' it...if we carry on like this, we'll probably be in the same position Greece is in today.
Re: UK General Election (06 May, 2010): Which party will you vote for?
goes to google 'coalition government'
My first general election where I am eligible to vote but I won't be able to since I'll be in Pakistan!
I'm not sure who I woulda voted for though. Either Labour or Lib-dems.

Not keen on David Cameron at all, everything he says just seems so contrived to me, all that spin and pr just makes him reek of insincerity imo but even I wouldn’t go this far :D:
Brown comes across as a decent person but totally out of his depth as a politician. I don’t honestly think he could have prevented the recession esp as so many other countries went thru it as well.. Was keen on the Lib Dems even before the the debate but like 99.9% of the country really didn’t think they stood a chance, am so glad they’re doing so well now, will be financially worse off if they do ever manage to get into power but do like what they stand for..

Not in a million years Pir Sahib. The British don't do coalition governments.
I predict Cameron will get in with a small majority.
Like most Pakis in the UK, I am a Labour man and will stick with them.
Whut
I’m trying here! ![]()
Re: UK General Election (06 May, 2010): Which party will you vote for?
I discovered this site:
You should try it.. interesting results :hmmm: Mine was ‘torn between Labour and Lib Dems’ :vivo:
Edgbaston! ![]()
You know I really don’t understand the Brown bashing, so there was a recession? But that affected the world not just the UK, It was also years in the making. I think it was handled in the best possible way, thank god we’re not in the same economic situation as the Greeks, Italians or the Spanish.
I really don’t like Cameron at all, something just doesn’t sit right with me about him. He was also particularly bad during that live debate. I’m not sure yet but I’ll probably vote Labour to keep the Conservatives out.
Why wait for a million years when it is going to happen in less than three weeks.
I will have to repatriate from the land of milk and honey (read Brum) to wasteland like London. ![]()
You in Edgbaston as well?
That’s harsh now!

Re: UK General Election (06 May, 2010): Which party will you vote for?
Lib Dems - Nick Clegg is cute...hahaha.....
but seriously, I don't trust Labour, and Conservs are just too up themselves.
