Apparently not. The way a few posters are writing, you'd think every girl in North America is petite, no North American girls are gold-diggers etc. Not sure where in "North America" they have been to but they definitely haven't been to the U.S.

UK girls aren't any different from girls in the U.S. or most other countries. Fat girls, gold-diggers, hypocrites exist everywhere. Do you really believe you're stating "facts" here? If so then you're on the same level as the guy who thinks sperms cause STD's and there's not much I can do to help.

Look, nobody forces guys to marry or stay with fatties or gold-diggers etc, you have a choice, like with everything in life. Guys just need to stop being so beta, yet not so domineering as the majority of paki freshies (not all).

We have fatties but there's a higher number of Desi girls who are in shape. And the ones who aren't in shape, don't wear leggings with short shirts, which seems to be quite the norm in the UK and that just highlights the out of shape bodies even more. There's a huge difference in makeup styles in NA and the UK--North Americans are more toned down with their makeup whereas British people are louder with their makeup.

Yes, there’s fat and gold-digging girls in NA too but there are many cultural and fashion differences between the UK and NA, which you’d understand if you had lived in both parts of the world. In general, British people are more gaudy with their fashion…:halo:

I think you guys are being unfair to Brit Paki chicks - not all of them are fatties. Some of them could teach American desi’s a thing or two about fashion. I personally know two who work as designers for leading British designers, which gets lapped up by foreign markets and raved about by Anna Wintour. Just saying!

OP’s first post isn’t saying much about UK girls gaudy fashion is it? Go re-read each point OP made. UK girls are fat, every other girl in UK is divorce yet finds a new husband right after divorce, UK girls take away husband’s property/assets, UK girls have standards and are hypocritical, UK girls are wearing hijab but not following Islam the right way, UK girls must be lesbians or frustrated b/c they use words like honey/hun/sweet when talking to other girls etc. There are plenty of girls in U.S. who fall under those categories…desi AND non-desi.

Of course there’s going to be culture and fashion difference between the U.S. and the UK and other countries. Is that what you think OP is asking? Why there is a certain type of culture/fashion in the UK? Because if that’s the case then this is more hopeless that I originally thought. :smack2:

This thread reminds me of the time we had family friends visit us from England. One of the daughters was on the chubby side and their mom was rather heavy-set...yet daughter couldn't help complaining about that overweight people in the US. It was expressed with such disgust too. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black. :/

Do you have any statistics to back your claim that there are a higher proportion of fitter desis in NA? And where in the uk are u because you are IMO generalising.

Im a brit. And im proud to say im a plus size yet i dont walk around with short shirts and leggings neither do my sisters who range from a size 8-16 lol so i really dont know where youre getting your ideas from. Make up is loud? Again are you focusing on shere you live in your community or again saying all UK girls!

Loud makeup? Like what everyday? Where are u meeting these type of people lol im not like that neither anyone in my social circle. Yes seen a few around but not ALL brit asian girls r like that

I'm basing on my observations, which come from living in different parts of England (namely, London and the Midlands). The OP is also basing it on his observations, I don't get why you're turning this into a scientific study and requesting facts and stats.

I'm a size 6 (US 2) so many people to me, look like "fatties". And people in the UK seem to wear leggings more so than people in NA. Again, my observation--you may not wear that or know people like that.

Yes, makeup is louder and again, that is my observation. Even the white British people wear louder makeup than people in NA simply because they prefer brighter colors whereas NA is more simple and plain.

Where did I say ALL people are like that? Stop assuming and getting so defensive. I merely pointed out my observations; never said EVERYONE is like that.

lol, for the record, I never said all are fatties or unfashionable.
There's plenty who dress nice and classy but also many who are just gaudy and highlight their fatness with tight clothes.

Anna Wintour is an idol of mine...that sounds like my dream job!
