High-Tech,
Apart from driving from Heathrow Airport to Gatwick Airport, you have two options:-
-
Take the tube from Heathrow to Victoria (changing at South Kensington), and then the train from Victoria to Gatwick. Depending on what train you take from Victoria station that will probably take you from 90 minutes or more.
-
Take the coach direct from Heathrow to Gatwick, which takes about 1 hour and 10 minutes. Here is a link to the National Express coach site.
I would not suggest going by cab, because it could be very expensive, costing over £80 UK pounds, as the distance between the two airports is some 40 miles. The tube/train or coach fares are around £15 UK pounds I think?
you have one best option... take gatewick express to London Victoria fare is about £12 then from there you have two otions either take heathrow express or take from Victoria get Victoria line change at green park (which is next station) and take Piccadilly line to heathrow... from Victoria you buy day travel card for zones 1 to 6 and it costs £5.10 off peak... the whole journy will take about 45 minutes....
If you take the cab it will take about 70 minutes and costly ofcourse.. it costs me about £50 to kingston which is halfway to heathrow...
will not advise to take couch... I think there is a direct train service from GAtewick to heathrow as well...
leaving 2morrow
thanks all. :)
