Uff larkay :p

I’ve done some babysitting and most of the time, it’s fun but very tiring. I always seem to end up with really hyperactive kids, the bounce off the wall, scream the house down, tear up the room kind. It’s kinda hard keeping up with them but by far the worst are the boys. Girls I can handle, because they usually want to do relatively tame things like talk, even though keeping up a conversation with them for more than an hour is like a guaranteed headache giver. And god, they are such potty-mouths!

Anyway, this couple came over with their seven year old boy some time ago today and since nobody else could be bothered playing with him, I was stuck with entertaining him. So yeah, a seven year old ultra talkative totla kid and there’s nothing in our house for him to do. Except the table tennis table ( :stuck_out_tongue: ) in our basement. So off we go downstairs, it’s cold and we have an unfinished basement so I was playing barefoot and there’s all these cement bits lying around. And boy, did he make me run! Ouch!!!

I tried explaining to him how table tennis is played but nooo, he had to have his way so he kept hitting the beams and me and various other things, everything except the table. And all the while, he was saying something totally incoherent (he’s totla) and I pretended to understand because he got really pissed off when I ignored him. So Taala (moi) and little totla Mohammed on a sugar high played table tennis. And then near the end he’s like I know a different game we can play with this and he proceeded to regurgitate what I had said about how table tennis is really played. Err. God, he hit the ball so hard, my arms were over my face most of the time. He won of course what did you expect.

My stepmom is insisting I clean up, so I have to fix the broken net, pick up the squished into the carpet brownie crumbs, vaccuum those little round pieces of paper that fell out of the hole-punch when he upended it, and explain to my sister why her fancy easter bunny stickers are no more (they’re on his knees and in my hair).

The kid’s adorable and really sweet but I can only take him in small doses. Hehe, me and my sister keep dragging him onto our laps and kissing him and he totally hates it.

Mein tay tahayya kar leeta ai, larkay nai paida karnay. Uff yeh sar dard.

I feel sorry for those that have boys :stuck_out_tongue:

:) hehe..cute!

i love kids.. boys or girls .. they r just adorable !

haha thats so cute! (I mean you and him bonding, you know you had fun :p )

Most boys i've come across that age group are really active, always doing one thing or another. I have a little brother who's almost eight, he's always running around doing this and that, making things out of anything and everything, making up his own own games and what not. The mind baffles how these kids come up with such creative things. So he's always active at home and with friends, but when me and my mom go out to grocery shopping, he's supposedly tired and he finds grocery shopping 'boring' cept of course when he has to buy candy or fruit roll ups and such.

And then there is my cousins little boy, he's 2 and he's already such a boy boy. Doesn't interact with girls, bosses his girl cousin (she's 2 as well) around while poor girl tries to hug and kiss him. A few days ago his mom was yelling at hime for something and he goes to her 'mumma calm down!' She's was just like :-O

And what say you about not having boys? They are so much fun!

I dunno.. sumhow i get along really well with short men.. :hehe: .. atleast they keep us busy all the time … n i admire their never endin supply of energy… i wish i cud borrow sum from em once in a while…

Hehehe OHHH I LOVE lil boys and girls…dont know about you Sarah dear but the gals I know are “WORSE” than the guys…

They beat the crap outta teh lil guys they play with..after all they’ve been trained by the best :D…and who the heck wants to play table tennis the right way…even I don’t…making up rules is the BEST thing about being with kids…they’re the ultimate anti-socials and we still love them for it…:hehe:

Aww Sehar, I've always wanted a brother. Lucky you.

Ok so I was exagerating, I'd love to have a son. Ahem. Ok, I've already thought of a name. Tell me that isn't pathetic! :o

Mohammed was doing something that took a long time in the washroom and suddenly he screams out Atiyaaa (he calls his parents by their first name.) He wanted her to come and wash him. Itna ganda kaam karana hai aur oopar say pehlay naam say pukar raha hai. We were all laughing :D

He left me and my sister each a lollypop too in our rooms. What a sweetheart na.

Conchita, yeah I could have guessed, tsk tsk you bad influence you :p

Aleezay, just wait for your bachay to come along :p you'll be begging for energy.

Oye I have a nephew I know exactly what your talking about, lil baby devils they are. Only angels when they are sleeping. But jeez I love him so much that whatever he does I can't really do much then to just ignore it......Though when he was lil I just to pinch his chubby cheeks just to make him cry cuz he looked sooooooooooo cute and adorable when he cried hehehehe gosh I am a BAD PHOPO

So have I  Got about 8-12 names in mind and I have a feeling I’m gonna be needing more

lolzz... how much u wanna have

wow Sarah this side of urs suits you :p

and yeah boys are just a handfull. Take my nephews for example, the elder one runs to me as I come in from school/work/outdoor, I haven't taken off my shoes yet...he jumps from 6 steps down right into my arms oomph and a really big hug. Now he's starting to say mamoo heh, kids are soo cute.

I love little kids!! But I realized this summer smooching every kid you find adorable could casue trouble. Now I have on my hands this cute 7 year old that hides when I'm around because I gave him a peck on his cheek; he got all excited 'n wide-eyed and said.. you love me! apparently he now thinks i'm his erm.. what's the word, girlfriend? He tells everyone about it but goes red when I walk in to the room and finds a place to hide.

Little girls are just as adorable. If they don't stop chewing on your ears, tell them no more popsicles!! They will fall asleep like angels.

i did babysitting 4 a while…kidz used to play with my guitar and keyboard so in a sense, i never had to babysit them…they were babysitting themselvez  :k:

I love baby sitting..be it girls or boys..i get along well with almost anyone..i take them for shopping in a nearby mall...for non active ones, i play indoor games, i read stories, if its gals..i make them look like princess..make their hairstyles, do nails, makeup..and yeah we play dulhan dulhan..hehe..and i love scaring kids..its so much fun..and for guys, i bring out my trampoline and we jump and jump..and then i take them to play squash or racquet ball..whatever they prefer..and once they are all tired..i make snacks for them..everytime i do something new for them.. and gals love dancing too..so we turn my room into bhangra and gidda place..and we dance.. variety is the key i guess coz kids get bored with the same old things :)
