that's a word for word translation...basically, this prose is saying "aren't you going to stick around and see what happens next..." it can either be a playful, flirty tone or depending on the rest of the lyrics, it can also be dark & depressing....depends on the context.

It was written in a drunkard’s tone. Cant you see it? Head lolling…drink precariously resting in the palm of the hand. Or 
possibly as the objection of a courtesan’s affection scorns her once more… she utters those poetic words only moments before breaking into a song and dance.

The one saying those lines is gonna do the show....and you're gonna be part of the tamasha if you hang around...and even more so if others are watching. "Tamasha" may even mean that there are hidden cameras around filming your reaction...for a reality TV show. Run....run for your life!!!!!!!!!!!

I think its meant to be in a depressing or sarcastic tone. The person is heartbroken so they are saying to the other person don't leave yet as they are going to be even more miserable.

Although i agree with Southie but just to add my 2cents.
The actual meaning that (He presumed) that you have started this game of love (by putting his heart on fire of love) for sake of fun only and dumping him once fun is over.
He trying to say hold on do not go away, the show is not over you would have even more fun on seeing me what happening to me afterward.
