to ye bhi likhna
kay chand taaray,
shahaab ankhien badal gaye hain
wo zinda lamhay jo teri raahon mein
tere anay kay muntazir thay
wo thak kay raahon mien dhel gaye hain
wo teri yaadien, khayal tere,
wo ranj tere, milaal tere
wo teri ankhein, sawal tere
wo tum say mere tamaam
rishtay bichar gaye hain,
ujadh gaye hian
udaasioon ka sabab jo likna
to ye bhi likhna
leraztay hoonton pe larhkharhti,
dua kay soraj
peghal gaye hain
tamaam sapnay he jal gaye hain
baad marnay ke tum meri kahani likna
kese hoi bardaad meri jawani likhna
ye bhi likhna kay mere hoont hansi ko tarsay kese
bahta raha meri ankhoon say pani likna.
