UD Naked Palette

I’m not much of an eye-shadow user, but am intrigued by how fast the UD sells and how girls are going absolutely ga-ga over it.

I’ve been wanting to have a nice palette of eyeshadows to choose from on the days when I want to try something different, but am wondering why the UD Naked palette is considered the very best?

As per my understanding, isnt it a very neutral palette with a few shimmers here and there? Is it the quality of the pigments, is it that you get more for your money, or what?

Genuinely interested in knowing if it is a true must have and why I should buy it!

Re: UD Naked Palette

Its a true must have. The quality, the pigmentation, how it blends easily and stays on for a good while, and the palette has colors you can play with from day time to night time wear, smokey or a more neautral eye. And Urban Decay has amazing quality eyeshadows. They're a big competition for MAC. imo.

Re: UD Naked Palette

Yup, it’s a great starter palette. The shadows may be too shimmery or too “soft” for some people but I personally love them. I wish it had more mattes but it’s a great palette. There are 12 shades and they are full-sized (a full-sized shadow by UD costs $18) so you do the math, it’s a really good deal.

Re: UD Naked Palette

It's an awesome palette. I love the colors and the quality is great. Like everyone else said, you can do whatever look you prefer - daytime to night. Def. recommended.

Re: UD Naked Palette

It's not cheap, but it really does have some very versatile and classic colours. And like everyone else has said, it gives a lot of looks for one palette.
Go for it.

Re: UD Naked Palette

I think it's cheap for what you get!

Re: UD Naked Palette

^I was just about to say that. You also get a brush and a mini primer potion.

Re: UD Naked Palette

yeyy i just got gifted this today for my birthday. So excited to try it out after hearing all these reviews.. Anyone know any new youtube gurus or websites/blogs with makeup tutorials ? :)

Re: UD Naked Palette

I bought it for myself for Christmas :) still haven't had a chance to use it!

Re: UD Naked Palette

This is literally the only palette I use for every occasion, all of my other eyeshadows have been neglected after purchasing the naked palette.

Re: UD Naked Palette

The novelty wears out once you purchase it. I've hardly used mine, it just sits on my dressing table.

Re: UD Naked Palette

SAME^ :( I've used it maximum 2 times which have both been on Eid! but then again i have a boring life where theres no weddings parties! That's why I'm really thinking about whether or not i should buy UD2.

Although i will say this: if you do tend to wear eyeshadow a lot then it's basically a MUST HAVE! it has some of the most gorgeous colours in there!

Re: UD Naked Palette

I use at least one shadow from mine everyday. I love creep for lining my lower lash line rather than a black.

Re: UD Naked Palette

Oooh never tried that! ^

Mm I like! :) thanks for the playlist, will be fun to experiment with. I just don't want to get hooked on wearing makeup daily as kajal is usually enough for everyday :)

Re: UD Naked Palette

Honestly don't bother then coz I have 2 UD pallettes which have barely been used. It was a complete waste of money. I have barely touched my MAC eye shadows too. Atleast I was sensible to stop after 7 lol

Re: UD Naked Palette

I love the UD shadows

I think they have great staying power, quality of the shadows is amazing and the colors are great. You get a primer potion and brush with the palette. The colors are so versatile...I use one almost every single day.

Re: UD Naked Palette

MKD - ahh yeah the sensible thing would be NOT to buy UD2 but it has such nice colours!

Re: UD Naked Palette

i bought my naked palette a few months ago- ordered it from online and it came with 3 pans of shadow and the brush missing (from ulta)

i exchanged it for a “full” one and haven’t used it yet, but it the colors are great! i’ll be using it for my BIL’s wedding next month iA (wish i’d had it for my own!)
