Yeah Lekin is an Arabic word meaning the same in Urdu.

naam yaa Majestic - aarif Arabi shuaee... and the dialect is more Egyptian and Palestinian cuz that's where my friends were from - and that's the only opportunity one gets to learn if one really wants to, cuz Non-Arabs are usually put on a scaled down curriculum when it comes to Arabic - I never understood why though.
