UAE fury as Kenya expels royals

**Kenya’s foreign minister has gone to the United Arab Emirates to defuse a row after members of UAE’s royal family were deported as terror suspects.**The four were on holiday in the Kenyan resort of Mombasa over Easter, when immigration officers interrogated them for hours and ordered them to leave.

The UAE has responded by tightening visa requirements for Kenyans - and now only accepts university graduates.

The ban has hit many traders, who usually buy their goods from Dubai.

Kenyan Foreign Minister Moses Wetangula is leading a delegation of officials in the UAE, seeking to get the ban overturned.

Last week, deputy foreign minister Richard Onyonka apologised on the BBC’s Swahili service for the “stupid mistake” of the officials.
