I see 7 cubes..
for that matter, i also see 6 cubes, and 5, and 4, and 3, 2 and even 1 cube. But, in addition to all that, i also see 8 cubes.

I think there is more trick to the question than the picture itself.

I still dont get it.
The 7 cube solution u showed above seems to be missing 3 sides to each cube. ???

Dont stare at pic. Try the method I should in Shark's case. Its very easy then to locate these 3D's.
