You’re underestimating the US military power. Btw, if Saudis and other hardline Arabs jihaidis haven’t infiltrated into Syrian conflict it would have been much easier to support opposition in ousting Assad. So, right now its hard to tell who is the good guy in this conflict.

Saudis are playing some dangerous games.

First they are backing Sunni Jihadists in Syria whose only goal is to make Syria an extremist Sunni State and then they are supporting the Secularists in Egypt who oppose the Sunni Extremists like the Muslim Brotherhood.
