U.S. decides to give Israel $9B in loan

Is that kinda joke or what?

**U.S. decides to give Israel $9B in loan
guarantees, $1B in military aid **

By Aluf Benn, Nathan Guttman (Washington) and Moti Bassok, Haaretz Correspondents

That is how you support terrorism and provide direct financial support for WMD programmes.

great news

We had to give Turkey's share to someone. I think another $10 or $15 billion are still up for grabs.

Turkey would have provided access for troops and other logistic support.. I really wonder what Israel has ever done for the US except eating up taxpayers money and using it to roll over Americans or spy on the USA.

The little terrorist state will need a lot more then $9B give the way their economy is f***ed by pali uprising.

You have a point. The vast amounts of aid sunk by the United States in Israel since its birth, would probably have been better spent, buying the whole real estate in some Scandanavian country for the jews to settle down in peace. Plus US would have enough left to solve almost all domestic problems too. What a waste!

This is money that will directly go towards such noble, democratic practices such as yanking centuries-old olive trees, murdering Palestinian youths who throw rocks at them, demolishing civilians' residential homes, terrorizing Palestinian children (with routine incursions into the Occupied Territories), checkpoints, harassment, and bulldozing to death - literally - any annoying young women who stand in their way. The Middle East's true "democracy" in action.

Its not a start. Its continuation. There are two wars, one is against Terrorism, the other is to support it (via Israel).

Surprise!!!

America is only funding it's forefathers.

Tell me you didn't know that?

ohh i just remembred

... the only and only real democracy in middle east just refused to give out gas masks to any non Israeli citizen and not to mention the millions upon millions in west bank and Gaza. I think they are selling it to the residents and Arabs are not included...

I think the tradition really goes way back....

Who cares about return. It is a gift for Israel.

Doubts over US aid to Israel

But, several hours after Israel announced the deal, the US said it had not made a decision about the aid package.

US State Department spokesman Richard Boucher told reporters at a briefing: "We don’t have any new decisions on that.

“The request has been made by the Israelis. The status today is the same as yesterday. We are looking at it. We are considering it.”
