To bad it didn’t happen sooner. Time to go back to sending the ellite college players, at least they would want to be there unlike their riched NBA counterparts.

Whether the world caught up or the Americans paid for not sending their best NBA players is up for debate. But this much is fact: Team USA will not medal at the 2002 World Championships. Yugoslavia made sure of it, dropping the U.S. team 81-78 on Thursday in Indianapolis. It marked the second straight defeat for an NBA-powered U.S. team after its 58-0 run.

I donno why the US sucks in the games it prides itself the most. The result of Baseball in olumpics isn't very different. I think last time they did better but before that it all style no story.

Thank God American football isn't played internationally.

i just cant believe this..sad indeed

this is good for the international basketball though..the sport might become more popular outside US..i still cant believe they lost twice in a row
