Sharing some U.S. military history with military history enthusiasts!
On May 16th, 2015, the U.S. military will be celebrating what we refer to as, the “U.S. Armed Forces Day.” This day provides Americans across the U.S. an opportunity to show gratitude and support to our troops in all branches of the American military. It was established by President Truman, in his effort to unify military celebration into one single day. This day is celebrated through military parades in various cities across the country for the general public.
A close, but not quite similar, comparison to this day in Pakistan would be Pakistan Day in March, or Pakistan’s Defense day in September.

Memorial Day is celebrated in the memory of those soldiers who have died in battle. If I can think of an equivalent day, it would be similar to, if not the same as, Youm-e-Shuhada.

Why do we need even more days? We don't even properly observe the memorial day.

Liberals have been saying for a long time that the best way to show our gratitude to the men and women in the Armed Forces is by
1) not sending them in harm's way
2) Ensure they are well taken care of upon their return if they have been injured
3) Provide them sufficient support for education / employment when they join the employment market.
Indeed, those in the Armed Forces - especially those in the front lines - have earned our respect. While holding parades may make us feel good, and I am all for it, we have to treat each soldier like they are our family. If we did that, we will be very careful before deploying them to wars overseas.

Is America so filthy as to send boys to war on a gang mission? I mean to say do not overlook what can be done, only what has been perforated and performed! That is to say, make sure other people can wave their flags:indiaflag:!
