This batting power play might be to Pakistan's detriment. The batsmen were pretty happy taking ones and twos. Now it'll be harder to score runs without taking risks.

Wonderful batting by two young Pakistani batsman. Hammad is again taking us near to victory. Pakistan need 10 runs in 3 overs with 5 wickets in hand. Waqas has also played a gem ! :k:
They are not even taking risk in powerplay … wonderful to see !

Why did Waqas throw away his wicket when it was so close? He helped Hammad bring it so close and now right before victory he throws away his wicket!!

Hammad played the brilliant inning, never got under-pressure, kept boundaries coming and singles to rotate strike and doubles to pressurize the fielding side. Waqas supported Hammad superbly. If Rameez hadn't gotten out we probably would've been some 20-25 runs short at the end.

We should groom Hammad, he can be next good all rounder (who can bowl medium pace) we’ve been missing for sometime :k: not to forget Ahsan Ali who can probably replace likes of Younis Khan (ODIs mainly).
