What’s up with that ? Why most of the computer users do not know proper keyboarding ? How difficult it is to learn.
In US they teach keyboarding in elementary schools.
I know many IT guys who have been programming for decades but they do two finger typing. That is inefficient and waste of time.
Do you use all ten fingers ( if you have all them intact ) when you use computer ?
If not why not ? What is stopping you to spend two hours of your time and learn proper typing ?
i didn't go to any school, let alone an amriikan elementary school :D i use my both hands but NOT the way most people do...i'm more 'desi' in typing **lol :)**
how do desis type
they do NOT use all 8 fingers and 2 thumbs of their hands and REST their heel of their palm on the table. instead, they use mostly 2 fingers [occasionally 3 but rarely more than 3] and their hands tip of the wrist rest on the table. got it? :)
I know I am not from US either , I learned typing on my own back home in Pakistan , out of my own interest. My master level assignments were required to be in type or printed and typists will charge an arm and a leg to type them so I learned to type myself to save abba key hard earned kama-e.

hehehe I use 4 fingers & I actually started with 2 too .. and ironically i am a Software Engineer. :D
I think it depends on how you initially typed & since I used PCs in mid nineties I just started typing on the go without learning a bit & since then havent been able to change the style either.
