Re: Types of shampoo's
I got as a xmas present its Trevor Sorbie. It gentle cleanses your hair. And no word of a lie it makes my hair so shiney and silky. I love it!! Its for coloured hair So it really does protect my hair.
Re: Types of shampoo's
Whats khushki ?
Whats khushki ?
Dryness, flakiness
Re: Types of shampoo's
Ok Head & Shoulders?
Ok Head & Shoulders?
tried that ..but no use ...:(
Re: Types of shampoo's
Okay, for khushki try this tip I got from Gina. It realllllly worked for me right after the first time!
Wash your hair. Take some vinegar, and just pour it over the areas where you have khushki, massage ur head with your fingers and let the vinegar work in. After that wash your hair again with normal shampoo.
Oh and another thing she said was: do not use Head&Shoulders, half of your problems will be solved!
Good luck, insha'Allah it'll work!
Re: Types of shampoo's
^ Head & Shoulders is NOT good for coloured hair Let me repeat its NOT good! It strips the whole colour out your hair. So yeah if you do have coloured hair and dont like it use that. But if u wanna keep your colour stay away from it.
Re: Types of shampoo's
for dandruff a shampoo with salicylic acid or tea tree oil shampoos r good. also add a few drops of joboba oil to ur leave in conditioner. joboba oil controls flakiness.
ok for myself i go with shampoo for dry/dmaged/brittle hair. right now am using desert essence shampoo, conditioner combo plus nioxin sham, conditioner. working fine for me.
Yeh, it’s the cold weather, central heating etc etc.
Especially now, it’s really tempting to have super hot showers. I know I was and the dryness got pretty bad. For about 2 weeks now I have been washing my hair with luke warm water first then turning up the temperature of the water afterward. It’s made a real difference.
Re: Types of shampoo's
I always wash my hair with cold water, even in winter, hate the feel of hot water on my head.
I switch shampoos every 2 weeks, get bored, but always shampoo for normal hair.
Re: Types of shampoo's
Iv heard that it is really good to switch up shampoos often. In a recent Kim Kardashian (who I am obsessed with..she is gorgeous and her hair is a-m-a-z-i-n-g!!!) interview she said that she keeps like 4 or 5 different kinds of shampoos/conditioners in her shower and changes it up every time she washes her hair. She says she does this to "shock the hair" because if you use the same stuff every time your hair gets used to it and does not do the "job" its supposed to do. So to keep her hair shiny and "bouncy" .... thats is her trick.
I may have to try this out..... there is always random sales going on ... i'll just stock up on different brands of shampoos and conditioners. I'll get different kinds too..... 1 set for shinyness, 1 for strength, 1 for dry and damaged, etc. lol.
This might solve my problem on my indecisiveness on what kind of shampoo and conditioner to get... i had always wished there was an "all in one" shampoo/conditioner. Lol. One that makes your hair silky shiny, gives it stregnth, helps with dryness and damage, gives it volume, deep cleanses/conditions it, etc.
I'll report back to you guys in a month or so on how this goes and whether Kim Kardashian's "advice" is legit. :D
Re: Types of shampoo's
^Do you think her hair looks like that naturally? I'm pretty sure it's extensions as with all celebs who are known for their nice hair, like Cheryl Cole.

sounds like ms. tush is recycling reggie bush's weight room routine advice on to shampoos...

Oh i totally agree.... definitely extensions play a role. But I mean some of that on her head is natural ..... ......... and it does look very shiny and healthy. :)
