^It's basically dabka. As far as I know, when the the metallic finish is shiny it's dabka. Kora has a dull look.

Oh.. and when dabka, kora and naqshi are mixed to create the work, it's known as Salma.

what is this work called?

hello GS designers....have a question for you.....I have seen this work quite a few times but was wondering if there is a name for this work....it is this irregular shaped crystals/stones ....like mostly triangular but different sizes and shapes sewed close to each other, clustered(so that fabric can't be seen)....come in diff colors...thanks in advance

nai nai...it is some work...clusters of irregular shaped crystals/stones....donno why our designers have not come up with the info on them :(

what i think is this is THREAD WORK .if the stones are there it would have been very heavy for it yet again if its not plastic stones but in these days there are many ready made neck line line paties so could be one of them.

It is just clustered stones and cut dana worked in an abstract pattern :) nothing complicated
