The red circle outlines french knots made from fine naqshi (similar to dabka but angular tubes). The same can be done with dabka and yes, it makes the cost of the kaam a lot more as it is more time consuming and requires skilled karigaars to do it neatly.

Well I' have heard alot about Mysm Jafar do you guys have his cell number or studio number I' went to a shaadi abt a month back it was out of this world I' asked the bride she told me it was from Mysm Jafar. I asked for his number she said Mysm does't gives out his number you 'll have to mail him .soI' wanted to knew do u guy have his number.

My sister in law had her shaddi and valima jora made from Mrs. Kazmi.. I don't really know what kind of kaam it was, i think it was dabka, but i remember she telling that it had actual pearls in it!!

Yeah a cuz had got her wedding jora from HSY and it had real garnets all over so i'm not surprised with the real pearls. In the olden days (if anyone has their grand mums saris etc) all they used in the threads was real gold and silver so I guess they are keeping with that. :)

i hav ordered my bridal from dr haroon.
he is excellent on phone and in person. even though ive placed my order wid him and im in UK so i hav to contact him by emails and he generally sends a 'two worded' response
he has no designs to show
on ur appointemnt he will actually show you a dress or two that are ready for brides and to be shipped in a few days... so no full fledge line of dresses.... u will fall in love wid the kaam and quality of cloth immediately.
he will drape you with a big dupatta to check which color suits you and then suggest something. and the u can discuss wid him wht u want. he will gv u full attention
u wud not know how the dress will be ... until it is ready! he will do the designing himsels will only discuss the dos and donts....
and i personally like that surprise if u r ordering wid a designer
i can imagine it is not possible to order when u r not in pak... i went to pak to order my wedding dress.
P.s he will only give one sitting!
