Types of dresses

I am finding no variety in types of dresses for the wedding functions.

I have finalised that I will wear

**Mayyun **-
Mehendi - Anarkali with choori daar pyjama
Barat -
Valima - Maxi
Maklawa - Sari

Now what about the other days? Lehnga & shalwar kameez are the only options left. Maybe i will go for Front-open kameez & trouser on Barat. But what other options are there? What colours of these dresses should i go for?

Re: Types of dresses

Re: Types of dresses

Have you heard of sarong?
If you like experimenting and want to look different , try a sarong dress. It looks ubber chic, however proper stitching is an important element here.
I might be doing one for a client soon and will post pics for you .

Re: Types of dresses

Oh I thought it was your wedding. But anyhow, you may try it on your brothers mayoun too!!

Re: Types of dresses

Sarong is a kind of lehnga which is stitched in a wrap around manner.
Its basically inspired from a “dhoti”
Im doing a layered sarong , Its something like his

The top is filled with zardozi work using various colors applics and dupata borders work with tussles

The work / colors are done around this

Will upload pics inshAllah as I finalize it
