Re: Two versions of ahadith about coming Jesus(as) - forgery?
Peace All
I think we are letting the maker of this video off light ... Not only has he leveled a claim against the Muslims of forgery and a cover up, but he is the one who is fraudulently claiming there is a cover up without evidence. To make claims of unsubstantiated information is not the criteria for a true believer ... As shardmanny explained earlier ... the whole argument is stemming from the notion that two translations are being compared Urdu and English.
Udam and Ihmar have some relationship in Arabic - but in Urdu the translations Gandumi and Surkh/Laal as in English Wheatish and Red do not have that relationship ... As a result variation creeps in ...
For the argument to be cogent the video maker should have shown that:
a) The English Darussalam translation used the Urdu translation to make that English translation - We can clearly say this is not the case because Darussalam translators are Arabs ...
b) He should also be able to show that the Urdu translation from Ahl-al-Hadith was written before the Messianic claim of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, because that would demonstrate that before he came translations were being done to suggest two different people and after he came then translations became different ... I don't think he can show that to be the case.
So by creating make-belief slanderous statements against the Muslims this person himself should be held accountable.

Assalama Alaykum respected brother psyah
Well said - I just wanted to add the following
Muslims develop/formulate their beliefs according to textual evidence.
Wannabe ‘Muslims’ develop/formulate the textual evidence according to their beliefs.
