Re: Two months pregnant thyroid issue

if you have hyperthyroid, you can have abnormalities in baby or miscarriage (ALLAHna keray), if you don’t take med. I had hyper.
if you are hypo, I don’t know about complications.
listen to your doctor. take your meds.

a link for you.

Like Chaaci said, it is very important to your thyroid medicine during pregnancy. High risk of miscarriage and birth defect in the babies when the mother has untreated thyroid. Also autism has been linked to mothers with thyroid's as well.

Re: Two months pregnant thyroid issue

My doctor had me tested for it as well and diagnosed me with subclinical hypothyroidism. The medication made me sick, so I am only trying to make a difference with my diet. Because the medication only made me sick and my pregnancy was progressing normally, the doctor said she will not prescribe me anything and we'll check my thyroid level again in the 3rd trimester. The diet change has helped a little, so lets see. :)

Rabia3983 is right, and you should take this seriously. There are different medications available and some may work better than others for you. You will have to work with your doctor to find the right meds and the right dosage for you. Make sure you ask how long you have to take it and have your tests done every few months to check how your thyroid level is.

Also, check your vitamin D level. I am vit D deficient and I am now taking vit D supplements and food rich in vitamin D.
