Re: Two founder members of biggest Muslim charity in the US jailed for 65 years
No, that's why you have some nations that are always a target either via official statements or media because they refuse to adopt the "American democratic model".
I'm inline with you on what you said earlier that Charity Founders were jailed according to U.S. Laws, yes that's fine. I agree.
What i said way earlier and what the others said is on the moral grounds, the decision is wrong. Just because they disagree with Israeli/American stance on the legitimacy of Hamas, should not make them terrorist funders/supporters because Hamas won the elections democratically. And Israel's refusal to accept the outcome shows double-standards, and U.S. ofcourse towed Isreali stance. But might is right; and unfortunately there isn't an argument to that sort of arrogance by one of a few powerful nations towards those who are weak.
Do you now see what i'm saying? So, morally the decision to jail them on the basis of their belief is wrong, and i don't think they would have been convicted in an impartial international court either because some nations sympathize with Hamas like you said, so that makes it an international split on the decision, and the decision would not be unanimous to what America thinks.
