Two different waters....

A glass of drinking water can calm down a human’s anger, but only a single drop of tear (for repentance of sin) in loneliness can invite Allah’s (swt) mercy & hence millions of blessings are showered upon the repenter.

A bath shower can remove all the dirt from a person’s body but dirt of soul is removed by shedding of tears in love of Allah (swt), and fear of HIS punishment. Such a drop is more valuable then all the seas of the universe.

Rain water can cool down the heat of earth, but tears of repentance can cool down the fire of hell, because Jibrail (a.s) once told the Prophet (saw) that the angels can’t write down the amount of blessings that ‘tears of repentance’ brings along with it, because one such tear can extinguish many seas of fire in hell.

Note: Mods please forgive me for posting it here.

Stop being a crime master and you won't need any of those drops :p

Re: Two different waters....

^ I once heard of a man who killed a hundred men and yet was admitted to heaven...

An i knew of another who never personally killed one... yet in life his corporate decisions had led to the indirect death of many hundreds and he was sent to hell fire.

Nothing is clear cut my friend.

Re: Two different waters....

wow. deep stuff. thanks for sharing.

Re: Two different waters....

^ JazakAllah khair.

People with a sensitive heart can't control their tears on many occasions. It is better to utilize this sensitivity in remembering Allah's blessings and repentance for our carelessness in obeying HIS orders.

Re: Two different waters…

did you hear this on a tv show?

and doesn’t your religion believe in the day of judgement? no one’s been sent to hell or heaven yet apparently. :hehe:

Re: Two different waters…

didn’t you know different molvees offering their ‘heaven packages’ ??

Re: Two different waters....

That is why everyone needs to study the authentic hadith books also on his own to be able to differenciate between the right and the wrong 'heaven package'. The right one ofcourse being the one offered by our Prophet (saw)

Re: Two different waters....

wonderful post but i dare to disagree on the bold part

as somebody said somewhere, DaR kay roye tu kya roye.... i am believer of the tears which comes out believing that Allah's love and association to man in unconditional and when the man realizes the love, the affection, the attention he gets from the All-Mighty, drop of tears pour out Thanking Allah for the blessings and Mercy...

Salaat and/or other fardh ibadah performed not due to fear of punishment but because of the love-relationship one have with Allah....

i just cannot imagine the state of mind and heart of the person who can actually do it...

anyway that is just a view..

Re: Two different waters....

I am really really glad that the almighty didn't outsource the judgement process to us humans. That would have really sucked.

Re: Two different waters....

It could be the case that that man was a vigilante.

And perhaps the second one was a war-monger leader.

PS: I don't think we should start acting defensive whenever we see someone talking from a religious point of view.

Re: Two different waters…

^ I wasn’t talking about the OP hareem :hehe:
