BALTIMORE (AP) _ Federal authorities have arrested a Maryland man for allegedly providing material support to a foreign terrorist organization, the U.S. attorney’s office in New York announced Thursday.
Mahmud Faruq Brent, of Gwynn Oak, is accused in a criminal complaint of conspiring to support the Lashkar-e-Taiba between 2001 and May 2005 by attending a terrorist training camp the group ran in Pakistan.
The complain also alleges Brent received martial arts training from Tarik Shah, who is under indictment in the southern district of New York on similar charges.
Re: Two arrested in US for support to Kashmir jihadis
All these charges are as bogus as those that were framed up against a poor indian hindu Hemant Lakhani...the poor fella is serving 20 odd years so that the FBI goons can show progress in war on terror to the stupid american masses...
Re: Two arrested in US for support to Kashmir jihadis
Lashkar doesnt count as Alqaeda, which is the only one I accuse of terrorism. Lashkar may have become one because of recent attacks in Pakstan but thats still doesnt mean they are guilty of anything in India. As long as this guy was planing to attack Indian soldiers in India its ok.. Lets wait of rthe tresults of his trial… Remember, he is stll innocent until his trial..
