Two accused of blasphemy gunned down in Faisalabad

So, how do we know 1) they were guilty of crime since they were killed before they could be convicted of a crime?

  1. This is result of blasphemy laws where minorities are persecuted using these laws. These laws should be repeal because this basically gives license to mullahs to kill people at will w/o regard for law.

And, I for one, would not hold my breath if their killers would ever be brought to justice.

Re: Two accused of blasphemy gunned down in Faisalabad

^ Can you please post the clause of "Blasphemy law" here? I haven't really seen it so I don't know how it provides authority to mullahs to kill anyone.

Re: Two accused of blasphemy gunned down in Faisalabad

That why the headlines read ''ACCUSED''

Re: Two accused of blasphemy gunned down in Faisalabad

These laws are so broad, and open for abuse and it happens all the time. This doesn’t apply to just to non muslims. There was a professor who was accused of blasphemy while back and he was killed in jail waiting for trial.

Blasphemy laws in Pakistan

Re: Two accused of blasphemy gunned down in Faisalabad

the laws make the situation worse to the extent of making people publicly known to be suspect, thus placing bulls eyes on them.

Sorry, but I still don’t see how the law allows street mullah to kill anyone, can you bring up the specific clause which says anyone other than law-enforcement can kill any blasphemer (word?)?

captain it's not about the laws, the problem is our society as whole is so much brain-washed over the issues of blasphmey that a father will not hesitate to kill his own son.

the disease of "i am true Muslim and defender of Islam by force" is spread all around us - will take decades for back to normalizations.

Re: Two accused of blasphemy gunned down in Faisalabad

Its more of a society problem than the Law.

Law actually can help people getting a fair trial. In absence of law, people will be killed from the word go there will be no other way around

Very true.

Re: Two accused of blasphemy gunned down in Faisalabad

Just another step towards destruction. Seeing a secular Pakistan is more of a dream now.

Re: Two accused of blasphemy gunned down in Faisalabad

Erasing of laws will do more harm than good. Education is key, for which the secular masters which some of you praise are responsible for! They are not fulfilling their responsibilities. So go and teach them a lesson of the mighty "secularism".. and give us all a break!

Re: Two accused of blasphemy gunned down in Faisalabad

BARBARIC BARBARIC BARBARIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! may Allah's wrath fall on the killers and their instigators...

So you admit here? As me and my scular masters wont fulfill our responsibilites. Brainwashed people like will continure to kills their own countrymen - christians, sufies, shias, ahmadies!

i) If a few unknown assailants can come and take over our entire GHQ and hold hostages, this is peanuts...

ii) So how do you know these unknown assailants were gay-goat-loving mollah talibans?

Re: Two accused of blasphemy gunned down in Faisalabad

It is very simple people who think they are the best muslims on earth will continue to kill their own countrymen who differ from their faith.

1) The Commander or Leader of the GHQ was x-SSG & spend many years in GHQ before getting fired over his sudden love for goat-lovers.

2) After 2004 or 2005, Anybody who works inside GHQ core buildings are forbidden to take arms inside.

3) Inside job, period.
