Due to the tension between India/Pakistan I re-installed twitter with the purpose of using it to stay updated with the current events. I don't understand how it works as I'd signed up years ago to ask a question and had Uninstalled later on. Why does the same bit of news/information keep repeating when I scroll?
I'd appreciate it if you could share links of useful Twitter handles to follow in order to stay updated with the current events related to the current tension between India and Pakistan.
I already follow a few but more would be appreciated.
Social media is a freak show these days. Dont really bother much tbh. It can only cause you stress.
You can follow independent media outlets, journalists etc. But I would STRONGLY recommend those who are more moderates. Those who swing either altogether left or right are often the ones creating havoc.
I have no clue about the political scene so I don’t know who the leftist are nor the rightist. I want to stay updated with the current events related to India/Pakistan tension. The news channels are annoying. They put horrible music in the headlines and repeat the same thing over and over again. Facebook is filled with meme’s which in itself is annoying.
PS: I figured out the reason the same information kept repeating was because it was being retweeted.
