Twisted Relationship

This is a first of the kind I have heard. Can they make a Bollywood movie on this?

*Indian marries temporary husband
A 19-year-old girl in the west Indian state of Gujarat has temporarily married her lover’s elder brother so she can live in the same house.
Sneha Patel eloped with her boyfriend, Yash Parmar, but discovered later that they could not marry legally.

Yash is 19. The legal age for marriage in Indian law is 18 for women and 21 for men and living with partners is traditionally not acceptable.

Elder brother Dharmesh has agreed to divorce Sneha when Yash is of age.

The marriage between Dharmesh and Sneha took place at a temple in June this year.

What will happen if Dharmesh refuses to divorce her two years later or Yash refuses to marry her?

Yash and Dharmesh are college students and their parents, Kishen Parmar and Manjula Parmar, who live in Ahmedabad, have agreed to the arrangement.

However, Sneha’s widowed mother, Kailash Patel, is unhappy.

“What will happen if Dharmesh refuses to divorce her two years later or Yash refuses to marry her?” she asks.

Ms Patel went to the police when her daughter went missing after her mother had expressed reservations about Sneha getting married to Yash.

Yash is of a lower caste background.

Police inspector, HB Rajput, who investigated the case said they could not intervene.

"When we went to the Parmar household, we were shown the document showing the marriage between Sneha and Dharmesh.

"Both are eligible adults and can get married. We have no documentary evidence of the deal within the family,‘’ Mr Rajput told the BBC.

It is believed that a document in which Dharmesh has promised to divorce Sneha after two years is being kept with a relative.

Sneha says Dharmesh has made a major sacrifice for her.

She said he might be her husband on paper but for her he was both her brother-in-law and a brother. *

Re: Twisted Relationship

so the woman is married to her future husbands brother temporarily...

yuck.....

Re: Twisted Relationship

I don't get it. Why couldn't the couple just wait?

Re: Twisted Relationship

exactly…why couldnt they wait? it was only 2 more years. instead of doing something so sick.

Re: Twisted Relationship

that is just sick. I was watching this show true crime story on an indian channel where they showed a chacha having affair with his brother's wife and his brother's daughter at the same time. Now, how sick is that????>

Re: Twisted Relationship

They couldnt wait coz the girl had run away from home, and unless she was the wife of whomever she's living with she'd have to go back to her mothers.

I think....

Re: Twisted Relationship

^^ wow having affair with daughter AND mother at the same time. every guys dream. but within ur own family, that jus aint right

Re: Twisted Relationship

whether its within your own family or not…its not right either way.

Re: Twisted Relationship

geek: you are mentally ill!

Re: Twisted Relationship

That is disgusting!

Re: Twisted Relationship

what if the bro n girl fall in love plus they are married whatever they call it ....so they can actually do everything legally....

Re: Twisted Relationship

…gives the meaning “keeping it all in the family” a new prospective.

and yes it is disgusting.

Re: Twisted Relationship

comon guys, you know you dig that sht. admit it

Re: Twisted Relationship

awkward.

Re: Twisted Relationship

...

Re: Twisted Relationship

so she married the older brother just so she wont have to go back to her mother's house. makes perfect sense...what esle could she have done.. i'm sure she is just his wife in papers but in reality is probably living with the younger one... still kinda weird.

Re: Twisted Relationship

Mahru......yaar, I just came from another thread where you are telling another to put a parda on the bad things that go on in the world and here are you doing what?

tsk, tsk.

Re: Twisted Relationship

 just when you thought you had heard it all - the girl definitely has no self-esteem!

Re: Twisted Relationship

Muzna: I strongly believe that agar dunya mei buraai hai tau uss par parda daloo and especially if you have witnessed something with your eyes but what i was trying to say here was that i guess i did not make it clear was that the story was about an indian girl and what i had watched was also on an indian channel. ( I am getting a free preview of Sahara one for like a month). So, i guess stuff like that is common in almost everywhere and mostly in India.

Re: Twisted Relationship

Ah! Not really. But we do hold some other fetishes close to our hearts. :bukbuk:
