there was a debate going on Facebook on recent attacks against Shia community, someone mentioned how LEJ/SSP have strong ties with Taliban... and further went on to say that they are inhumane, monsters etc. few Arabs were outraged by the fact that someone called taliban "monsters" as according to them taliban are mujahideen... :( I was like what, did they just say that?? :(... This just goes to show how there is lack of awareness among Arab nations as to what is actually happening in Pakistan, they dont even know what taliban are upto... they have absolutely no clue about ground realities in Pakistan. pretty sad, they are just worried about other Muslim countries, not a word of condemnation from our other Muslim countries whenever a bomb blast happens in Pakistan.
speaking of taliban, any of these terrorist organization have claim the responsibility of this attack?

spot on..here in US i was thrown out of a mosque once...coz i stood up and asked Imam not to call Laden and taliban mujahid...it was a friday sermon...most of them were arabs....they were shocked and could not believe what i said! they dont care abt pakistan....

I do not blame them. When the same taleban were killing Afghans, all of us were cherishing them as mujahids (since they were not affecting us). The Afghans were against them and and as a result they turned very anti Pakistan and Saudia. I couldn't fathom the reason, 'as the taleban had brought peace to the war ravaged country'. The Arabs would also know them better when they start imparting some love to them as well.

There are rumors 'Army announcing grand operation in Karachi'.
Kiyani is in khi today and I suspect that this is the reason khi was shut down as to how dare he step into our territory.
Nothing to do with Abbas town killing as MQM claims :)
