Just watched twilight after so many recommendations from my friends. First of all, the concept of a love story between a vampire and human was not that attractive to me but after watching the movie, I was like - OMG - Its so cheesy!
For a moment lets cut the love story crap out of this discussion. Lets come to the fiction. Vampires. I think that if you have to make up some fiction then you gota compete with or get along with the other mythologies/fiction that has already been set up.
According to Twilight, vampires GLITTER in sunshine. Since when? I can’t remember a single vampire fiction which states that .. the writer just created a new stuff to make it romantic ..
Vampires can climb up trees like spiders/monkeys .. .. .. okay i know they are good at jumping but climbing a tree like that? just to create a please scene in the movie/book??
Overall, that movie was OKAY for me … not something that i might say WOHO .. wat a movie. I guess i have seen way better romantic movies than this ..
To guys who loved the twilight, would you really love some girl who is that empty? does not smile, does not a life .. :s .. ?? seriously? i din see a single charming thing in Bella .. I bet, only a vampire could fall for her ..
To Girls who loved edward, emm thats pretty much sensible. girls always like someone powerful and protective .. Good choice if you girls like edward! ..

I watched Eclipse last weekend.. and its not that bad as compared to New moon. O ya, totally agreed with the remarks about Bella. In Eclipse her acting is marginally better but still she is way behind the standards.. And Edward's glittering... I dont think many people care about it. They just created it to distinguish from other vampires. Btw, I'm sure Jacob is now all over this character cuz I was watching @ theatre in times square, and every time when Jacob showed up, guls were like screaming, jumping up and down.. no kidding.. I hate (actually envy) Jac
Stephanie Meyer is a mediocre writer. Yes, she took hundreds of years old legends about vampires and werewolves and completely changed them because "she had a dream about it".
But who cares? These stories are not meant to be analyzed. They are meant for teenage girls and their moms. And thats the demographic that loves them the most. If you are watching them to get some meaning out of them, then you are definitely out of luck.
Eclipse though, is a much better movie than the previous two. It was also the one that is truest to the book.
And the thing is, most people who are addicted to the twilight saga (including me) KNOW how ridiculously shallow the storyline is, BUT we can't help but love it!
In 5 years, noone is even going to remember that there were movies called the twilight saga: blah blah.

Secondly, I din say a single word on “love” crap .. .. Don’t start on it .. .. .. Just to let you know a little, every decent love story has a spark, some chemistry between the lovers. There was not a single spark between edward and bella. Honestly, I can’t see why edwar fell in love for that Hollow Lady. Either the director has missed to portray her character in the movie the way it has been portrayed in the book or it is really a crap. Out of all the girls, she is the only one whose mind is un-readable for him .. .. .. umm ..
I wrote my review as a movie critic and judged the movie on the basis of “fiction” of vampires and the direction. she has totally ruined the image of vampires by giving 'em glittering stuff .. honestly, vampiers look more amazing when they burn in sunshine .. .. lol! ..
