Don’t care too much about who should be included/excluded in/from the team.
Only one REEKWEST ----- Please do not include Robin Uthappa …he will be a waste of space…there is only so many times you can walk down the track and whack the ball through the long-off…(that is the only shot he knows).

May the PRACTICE GAME begin.
Why not uthappa. Atleast he plays streight. There are other thulleybaz too in the team, like Sehwag, who plays across all the time. Then you have Dhoni with no real technique. If all of these players are affective, then why not take them.
^Uthappa is NOT EFFECTIVE...he is not even a real tullaybaaz...he is just a mediocre batsman whose only claim to "tullaybaazi" is walking down the track and trying to whack the ball (unlike Dhoni/Sehwag).
^oh cmon dont get over dramatic like u get with everything
he has played well so far in the ODIs and 20/20s, dont tell me he has only one shot
anyways ur opinion is ur opinion and thats okay
but for me i think he is one of indias future players, needs as many chances as he can get in intl cricket to get better

Dramaaaaaaaatic....eh ?
Uthappa's last 8 ODI innings :
0, 30,5,44,47,11,19,1
Vaary consistent....what say ?
In any case, all I am saying is this is Twenty20 where "ability to slog" is a job requirement...and the only way Uthappa knows to "slog" is to take a few steps and whack the ball through the offside....it will not work on fast Aussie wickets agains the Aussie bowlers....
A couple of good innings against a mediocre English attack...and you think he is a Sehwag/Dhoni...but he is not.
Uthappa says this about the only slog-shot in his armoury :
*“The punch down the ground came about because of where I grew up. There’s a house in front of the apartment where I stay, and in front of that house was an empty plot where we played. There were roads on either side, so if I had to score it would have to be straight. If I hit over the house and into the gutter, it was six. So I always tried to punch straight.” *
I just figured out why I like Uthappa sight unseen....reminds of the wonderful onion chili kind I used to inhale while in South India! With a healthy dollop of spiced coconut chutney and either a methi or tomato chutney! yummy! That followed by strong piping hot Madrasi coffee!

i guess these 2 define consistent?
look im not saying he is the next tendulkar or anything, and its not like we are picking him over sehwag, but kids got potential, dont write him off like you did sharma in the tests
Anyways I hope Dhoni hits some form, love to see him get going, so far he has been a disappointment with the bat in australia
