Tweezers..

Re: Tweezers..

I used to do that so my eyebrows looked neat all the time. It worked very well, BUT then the day after (or two, three days later) I plucked, I started getting these tiny black hair follicles that were beneath the skin. I couldn’t pluck those, and the threading didn’t catch them either, so then I had these tiny black dots (even after threading) below my eyebrows. After awhile, I just stopped plucking my eyebrows, and those ‘black dots’ went away.

I would recommend plucking if you have to go out somewhere important and you don’t have time for threading. Basically once in a while is fine, but with everyday (or every couple of days) you may get a lot more in growns. Hope this helps!

Re: Tweezers..

so you get those black dots with plucking, i never knew that, it is so irritating to have them and not being able to get rid of them.

Re: Tweezers..

i do agree with u ... the creature ,women is so complicated...

Re: Tweezers..

If you pluck properly then you shouldn't get the black dots, as this is what you get when the hair is broken off at the surface of the skin. If you pluck the hair out in its entirety then there's no hair left behind and hence no black dot.

Re: Tweezers..

^^ true. i tweeze all the time and i dont get the black dots if the tweezer end is sharp enough to grab the hair properly and pluck it out from the root. you need to get a good slanted tip tweezer (i think u can find a decent one for under $10) and pluck in natural lighting where u can see all the fine hair.

Re: Tweezers..

i would go with the cheap revlon one it works pretty good. I never get my eyebrows threaded cuz they always mess up but its up to u but ya i never get black dots and i also do my cousins' eyebrows dey never get them either well das cuz i guess iv been pluckin for a long time but i think u shud giv it a try :)

Re: Tweezers..

The best tweezer is from Tweezerman. They're pricey, but you get free sharpening from them and a lot of professionals swear by them.
