Since past 5 years or so maybe more or less, due to Roza my mind is not able to think properly in the context of time today but since the new entertainment of TV Talk shows, bolta pakistan, capital talk, off the record , kal tak etc…
have you ever seen any “solutions” provided by these shows ? I have seldom seen any “solution” provided in these shows …yes they do discuss and maybe awareness but where is the “solution” portion of these talk shows …
And they switch topics so fast that awam like me are just being entertained by the political circus …
they are good shows but there is never an “expert” never a qanoni mahir who shall serve the purpose of “guide” …
I am going to write some emails to geo and ary and thought maybe you guys agree with this observations!
one good thing getting out of this is that you get to know your leaders better. You see what they think and how they behave and what their thoughts are about different issues. Not every goes to rallies and "jalsey jaloos" of parties and they get to learn about them through these shows. Really makes it easier to distinguish good and bad. Better politicians are benefiting through it.

these talk show are to highlight the problems, discuss them and create awareness in the masses about the issues. Fixing these problems is in the hand of govt and establishment.
