I emailed Q&[email protected] (from their website), and I receieved their reply on Jan. 15th.

She also wrote one more sentence I forgot to add in, that they have no information about providing individual games.

Sherlock, I know someone who works at cogeco and the word is they are definitely gonna be airing the WC, and are working out the package right now. Call the 1-800 number in the last week of january for final deals.

btw, could you update here when you find out if FoxSportsWorld is going to be telecasting or not eventually. Thanks.

Yeah, they made that PPVCricket email address recently. I guess it’s because of the major demand of users emailing Dishnetwork about the packages.

But try going to Dishnetwork.com then Support, Contact Us. Then select PayPerView.
I guess address your email towards Melanie, and see what she has to say. Yet, whatever she told me is not on http://www.dishnetwork.com/cricket/ or http://www.kbs-tv.com

It's gonna be PPV dude. Pretty unfortunate which is why I'm also hoping FoxSportsWorld cuts a deal for the rights soon.

I would suggest you buy certain matches, and ask your friends to share the cost, this way if you have 5 people, you only have to pay $60...

BBC will offer Live Commentary for most matches.

Otherwise get a dish.

I got in a little talked with Dishnetwork customer service on the weekend. They told me whole package of World Cup would cost 229 bucks; and for dish 149 bucks, total of 378 dollars.

Each month, Dishnetwork will deposit 12 cents/bucks(don’t remember well) in my account. By doing so, I’d have my own lil dish by the end of next year.

Great deal. I’m thinking about hookin’ up on this one. :k:

What Channels are showing World Cup?

I don’t have a dish! But I am hoping I can ask my cable company to give me the channel which is showing worldcup cricket for a month or two.

If this is not an option, how do I got about getting a Dish? How much will it cost?! etc.

Bhai, aap Dishnetwork say contact karain as funguy mentioned. I talked to the Customer Service of Dishnetwork on the weekend. According to them, it will cost 378 bucks.

Whole World Cup Package: $229

Dish: $149

I think it’s a good deal. You can have the dish after one year; and your account will receive 12 cents/bucks(don’t remember well) every month.
