Re: Turkey recalls US ambassador over genocide dispute
So is it Islamic to deny such a great crime against humanity?
The europeans and americans never pass a resolution calling the zionist persecution of palestinians a genocide, yet are passing this armenian resolution because armenians are their fellow christians.
Nor has the US senate officially passed a resolution calling the persecution of Native Americans a genocide.
This shows white man's double standards

Let's make the Bengali atrocities a genocide while we're at it, let's see how you tolerate that.
Re: Turkey recalls US ambassador over genocide dispute
I wonder if Pak Brave Heart is willing to admit that the Taliban engaged in genocide against the Shi'a Hazaras during their rule.
Re: Turkey recalls US ambassador over genocide dispute
what happened to hazara was sad and bad.
the hazaras are fellow Muslims and fellow Humans.
I love all Muslims and I also love christians( who are not zionist)
Re: Turkey recalls US ambassador over genocide dispute
I wonder what would happen if the Bengali deaths during the '71 war were to be considered as genocide.
Wasnt it Genecide?
Re: Turkey recalls US ambassador over genocide dispute
^^ idiotic of turkey
everyone knows that this genocide took place
Americans have acknowledged the genocide against the Native Americans Germans have acknowledged the genocide against the Jews Rwanda, Nicaragua, Pakistan, Spain, Portugal, etc....
sad to see some victim of western media.
American genocide is far from being over. in 1970s when arab countries threaten that they would not sell oil to USA.
The evolved and mature USA made it very clear to backward arabs that usa would use ANY mean necessary to get to oil.
They show "maturity" because after killing millions and exploiting countries finally their british a$# es are settle down now.
Now they want peace .
Just try making them unstable and see that how still "native killing" spirit is still alive.
Re: Turkey recalls US ambassador over genocide dispute
Amazing. Bernard Lewis was invited to washington and was treated as an irrefutable expert on Islam and what's wrong with it and the Muslm world. Yet his scholarly opinion on the Armenian killings (and it IS an injustice to ignore the killings of Turks by Armenians) go without any notice. Simply amazing.
I'm no fan of the Young Turks...but really, the view of the killings by Eurpean nations (and now America) is horridly one sided, and simply lacking in any Turksih references.

Re: Turkey recalls US ambassador over genocide dispute
but do you agree that the genocide against the armenians happened or not?
because the armenian population is only 3 million and 1.5 million were killed
50% of their entire population
Why the talk right now? Short political inside gain doesn't = the outside political consequences, yes turkey should use the points they have now with the bush admin. instead of pushing further away, short term fk'ing of U.S. is not healthy for turkey in long run.

Turks say that it was a relocation. It was not a deliberate genocide.
Zionists hate every Muslim country, no matter how secular it is.

Re: Turkey recalls US ambassador over genocide dispute
Yet another case of lobbyists from a country pressurising the USA into acting against its best interests.
Few countries seem to be as openly vulnerable as the USA to special interests lobbyists. France and Canada have also caved in to the Armenian immigrant lobby, but they did not have anywhere near as much at stake as this incredibly self-harming move by Congress did.
All France lost out on was a few arms contracts. But the US Congress willingly chose to imperil its supply lines to its army in the field and risk destabilising the most successful part of its army's theatre of operation - what kind of monstrous political system lends itself so well to pressure by a minority?
Far tighter controls must be in place on funding for election campaigns. Candidates chances of winning elections should have precious little to do with the funding they receive at election time - elections should be specifically about the difference a candidate will make for his electorate.
Contrast the emphasis in the USA with how much money a political party or even individual candidate raises with election campaigns in Westminister Parliamentary systems, where funding, while still an issue, plays only a minor role and is very tightly regulated.
In other words, this whole Armenian murder dispute does little but illustrate the importance of the USA dropping its political structure and adopting the British Westminister model and its ruleset instead. The democratic colonial model established in the late 1700s has proven itself to be more vulnerable to lobbyist interests than the older British system used throughout the Commonwealth.
Re: Turkey recalls US ambassador over genocide dispute
^^ Besides that?
Do you agree calling what happened to the Armenians a genocide?
