Turkey Point, Ontario at Lake Erie

Has anyone here been to Turkey Point, Ontario at Lake Erie? There are 5 picnic points and provincial parks on Lake Erie South of GTA/Hamilton area. I want to know to personal experience there and recommendation as a family picnic point.

The facilities and activities look attractive from the official site.

Re: Turkey Point, Ontario at Lake Erie

I went there last Saturday with family. Its a very nice place to goto. A lot of facilities there for camping, fishing, kidz playgrounds, all kinds of BBQs, picnic pavalions, water sports rentals, hiking trails, biking, a very safe and long beach (plenty of space so you can get a quiet spot for your family). I would say go there only when the temprature is atleast 24C. Temprature there in summer is usually 2 degree higher than GTA since its in further south.

1.5 hour if you take 403 Hamilton and then Hwy 24 south all the way to Turkey Point.
