Which of the two would you pick to spend honeymoon? Thailand seems to be the choice of most people i meet these days but does Turkey qualify as a good destination to spend honeymoon? I am myself very much interested in Turkey because of the many historical places and its rich history, but does it possess any significant natural beauty, beaches or beautiful landscape? How do these two compare in terms of expenses aswell? I would very much appreciate if you guys can share your thoughts on this.

I would say Turkey!!!
Turkey has mountains and beach resorts…look into an itinerary that combines Istanbul with a beach resort on the Mediterranean side of the country.

Also depends on what time of the year you are planning on visiting. The weather in Turkey is awful between November and April. If you are planning summer travel, then the beach resorts in Ovabuku, Cirali, Amos etc. are just as exotic as any Thai beach.

Antalya seems nice, Pamukelle is also close to it, so combination of Istanbul with Antalya could be a perfect blend. Thanks for the suggestion!

Thailand is best destination to do shopping and stuff.
Thai people are friendlier than turks for sure.
It's cheaper to travel in Thailand.
Turkey is more beautiful than Thailand.

Both are nice place to visit. Turkey has also historical places.
