Turkey allows Visa on Arrival for Pakistanis bearing EU and US Visa

I dont know if its new, but this is good. No need of transit visa now or Pakistanis travelling with Turkish Airlines :).

Pakistan: Official passport holders are exempted from visa for their travels to Turkey up to 90 days. Ordinary passport holders are required to have visa to enter Turkey. Ordinary passport holders with a valid Schengen, UK or US visas may get their one month single entry visas at the Turkish border gates upon their arrival.

Brilliant. I was not aware of this.

Re: Turkey allows Visa on Arrival for Pakistanis bearing EU and US Visa

Can someone clarify something? A Pakistani passport containing a valid visa for the UK does NOT require any prior application? You will get the visa when you enter, same as a British passport holder?

Re: Turkey allows Visa on Arrival for Pakistanis bearing EU and US Visa

I'd like to know that too: Pakistani passport + UK Visa = Turkish visa on entry?

Re: Turkey allows Visa on Arrival for Pakistanis bearing EU and US Visa

Yep, that's what it says.

Re: Turkey allows Visa on Arrival for Pakistanis bearing EU and US Visa

Yea pal, I can read but I want to know for sure i.e. has anyone gone with a UK visa in their Pak passport and no prior Turkish visa. Did they ask the traveller for anything i.e. proofs?

I don't want to take any risks.

the best bet for you would be to call the local Turkish Consulate and they will be able to tell you the correct answer, iA :)

Re: Turkey allows Visa on Arrival for Pakistanis bearing EU and US Visa

I knows. I mailed them yesterday. Can't be bothered to sit on hold for ages.

Re: Turkey allows Visa on Arrival for Pakistanis bearing EU and US Visa

bwahaha, truth. but the visa info line costs 60p/min :|

Re: Turkey allows Visa on Arrival for Pakistanis bearing EU and US Visa

what? why would it cost that much? is it like 1-900 type of calls? these days it's almost nothing to call anywhere in the world...even sometimes, it costs more to call around the corner than to call around the world! hehe! it's 1.5 cents a minute to call india :)

Re: Turkey allows Visa on Arrival for Pakistanis bearing EU and US Visa

I don't know! They have local numbers on their website and when you call it, it tells you to call this visa hotline for visa info and when you call that they tell you it's going to be 60p/min. I bet they just give you a long automated message with the same info as on the website as well.

Yah, it's ridic... I pay 1p/min to call Pak these days.

Re: Turkey allows Visa on Arrival for Pakistanis bearing EU and US Visa

official turkish website and their ISB embassy site state that visa on arrival can be granted to Pakistani PP holders if they possess a valid UK, US or Schengen visa.

I wanted to confirm this a couple of months back and sent an email to their embassy in ISB at [EMAIL="[email protected]"][email protected]. Got no reply to my email but try their phone number +92 51 831 98 00 and you should be able to get the answer you need.

Fee is 20$ for a one months visa.
