*You know, I wonder if they’ll laugh when I am dead
Why am I fighting to live, if I’m just living to fight?
Why am I trying to see, when there aint nothing in sight?
Why am I trying to give, when no one gives me a try?
Why am I dying to live, if I’m just living to die? *
Growing up, learning about Life, in and on the streets is concrete, if you are exposed to such. It can either Make You or Break You. It’s really all about choices and decisions and what’s in your heart. When you hear Tupac’s music and relate to his words, is where and when I found it to be his greatest impact on me. So, this movie of his no matter how badly produced, will still touch your heart if you liked or learned anything from his music.
If you are a Tupac Fan you will love this movie. What I mean by Tupac fan is you liked every aspect of the man not just his music. If you only like the music than you probably will not like this movie as it is a look into his life and the man not his music.
This movie gives you a look in to Tupac’s life that most never knew. It shows how he saw life and tried to learn from his mistakes. It didn’t make him more a man then he was, it just shows you that he was a man. Watching this movie/documentary showed me the Real man behind the character “Tupac.” We saw his good times, bad times, how he really felt about things. Not just what we read in papers and heard on the news. This was the REAL MAN.
Special thanks to Afeni for showing a side of her son that Tupacs’ fans hadn’t seen.
R.I.P TUPAC! You will live forever through your music.
