Re: Tuna Pasta Salad

Mayonnaise, thinned out a little with lemon juice, add freshly chopped herbs of your choice, salt and pepper. Sometimes I add sweetcorn and finely diced peppers.

Re: Tuna Pasta Salad

What can I do that's not mayonnaise based? Along with the pasta; tuna, kidney beans, diced boiled potato... but what can I add to make it taste good?

Re: Tuna Pasta Salad

^ Greek yoghurt with a bit of seasoning perhaps?

Re: Tuna Pasta Salad

Ew no, yoghurt makes me ulti.

Re: Tuna Pasta Salad

I usually just add lemon juice and a bit of the good ol' chaat masala in my salads but I don't know how well that'll work with tuna. What about some kind of sauce or hummus?

Re: Tuna Pasta Salad

you peepal got late in responding to me and I managed to make a khichri out of my tuna pasta salad :snooty:

I sizzled some fresh garlic, put in the tuna … fried it , then added herbs , boiled pasta … salt , blackpepper … and hila hila ki jaan nikaal di pasta ki :frowning:

Re: Tuna Pasta Salad

Well, I added some lemon and seasoning (salt, black pepper, mixed herbs) but it wasn't enough for hubby.

We don't do chaat masala and I don't want to go down that road.

Maybe I need to experiment making some dressings.
