Re: Tummy hurts so bad after I eat iftar (even if i eat very light)
Hmmm.........it's possible that the acid in fruit is giving you a stomach ache. Some people believe that certain food groups should not be combined because they can upset the stomach.
Try eating something different than fruit chaat. Try eating yogurt. Yogurt has enzymes that destroy bacteria and that help clean and neutralize our digestive system. So try eating dehi baray.....or dehi chaat (chana chaat in yogurt). But don't make it too spicy.
It's possible that you're eating food that is too spicy. Spicy foods can cause stomach aches. So, don't put too much chaat masala in your fruit chaat. I also know that SOMETIMES there can be a problem in the quality of the chaat masala. Maybe that's the problem.
Maybe you're eating too fast? Take your time when you eat. Carefully chew your food before swallowing. Don't rush it. In Ramzan, we're so hungry that we eat one dish......and then we quickly grab another. For example.......we finish the bowl of fruit chaat....and the very next second......we chow down 4 samosay.......and then a millisecond later.....we down the pakoray, etc etc. It could wreak havoc on your digestive system. So....slow down when you eat. Maybe you need to give a little break before eating something else.
If this problem STILL persists............please consult a doctor.
