I see that you are from Dubai…the very place I went to the live concert of Jagjit also.
Of the concerts and live performances—I never enjoyed any then those held at AlNasr Leisureland and Trade Centre–during our days (1983-1995) of posting at UBL.
The poetic gatherings, the mushairas and jashns (Jashn-e-Qasmi, Jashn-e-Aali, Jashn-e-Khumar Barabunkvi) held during our days were mesmerizing too. I guess that all have now become very limited.
Now—the heavy focus is on drama recordings etc in Dubai.

Yaar…tum ne Salim Nasir aur Jamshed Ansari ki yaad taaza kardee aur mujhey intehaiee nostalgic kardiya.
Bilkul…aur woh TIE aaj tukk mere pass hai. Mazaay Ki Baat ye hai ke jubb hum woh scene record karwa rahay thahy…tow ye maamla scene ka part nahin thaah…aur Salim ne chalaaki se ye subb improvise kiya… aur recording ke dauraan meine…taqreebunn faisla karliya thah ke mein recording STOP karwaoun…magarr Salim in apna haath mere kandhay pe rakh ke…ishratunn message diya ke jaane dow issi tarah… spicy bunn raha hai scene…jis pe Jamshed ne bhi ADLIB ki…“Haan…Maryam Raat Ko ‘Good Morning’ Keh Rahee Theeh!!!:)”.
UN KAHI…lives & will live—in the minds and hearts of many…for long!
