it could be anything from a note pad, to a heart.

Hmmm I hardly ever lose things.. not talking about hearts 
haan, so I am very well managed when it comes to this. I always put everything at its place, like keys, wallet, etc etc. when I get home. They are put at exactly the same place. And when leaving, I pick them up from the same place. So I never forget anything at home.
Unless sometimes (for some reason) when they are not put at their place, then I usually leave home without taking them with me.

AQ, it is not innocent people's mistake when they lose things. but some people like to be self pitying. they should not have things of others be preyed upon by them solely due to their own selfish reasons, in matter of losing heart (which has multiple meanings - from being unsure of own intent for loss, to delibrately being a sorry loser). no?
