before this type of bribing became so public, it existed, since eternity, in a sophisticated manner in the form of ‘gifts’, ‘donations’, ‘help to poor’ etc.

in old days, i heard, that folks used to send 'fasal kii cheezeN" [aam, amrood, tarbooz, Kharbooza etc], on regular basis, to civilian authorities in the city/town to gain favour whenever needed.

there is this guy in India, he always introduces to me the poor N needy person and ask for help. i heard that he then gets his ‘commission’ from that poor person. he is a true facilitator.

smart way indeed to scam people. lolz
