In response to Roman’s Razaee, I would like to discuss its adopted and often ignored sister called Tulaee. It goes on top of the bare Charpai under the bedspread (chaddar or Khais, etc.), and it ensures a relatively smooth and comfortable sleep. I have often wondered why Tulaee does not get as much attention as a Razaee. Even the cotton that is used in stuffing is not of the best quality, and the material to make it with is also a cheap one. Often times, Tulaee has piss marks and other stains that if it spoke will tell a lot of stories.

also, kambals, khais and loyees might look fancy and people might show off but as soon as the need is gone, they are thrown away in the back koThRi.
