^ thats just avg. IMHO. I have seen some parts of that serial, which is alright but ghazal sung by jugjeet dont do justice to the poetry itself.
This is the difference, I mean i dont know whether its the singer who sung Faiz and made him eternal. or just that those poem were most suitable for singing.
if you hear Madam singing **Mujh se pehli si mohabat *(one sung for ptv ) * and then you hear any other good singer singing the same you would easily figure out that the poem and voice/melody are just the compliment of each other, you can feel that the melody and poetry are in sync.
that first one is like suit made of Italian fabric stitched to perfection just for you, and the next one is just a ready made... which one keeps as a last option when nothing better is available.
