Ok, I need help on this one… I have designed a great party-dress, but how do you explain your Pakistani tailor to make you a tube top? The material is non-stretch (silk) so it would require a zip/hooks to have it fitted (maybe a zip is not a very good idea, if you have better ideas plz let me know…) It has to be a tube-top as I have a kameez with a deep “galla”. If anyone has pics that would be gr8!

They can make a tube top.. just give them a picture. Go with hooksmayeb u should explain what want the dress to look liek or post a pic.. ur shalwar kameez sentence is throwin me off.. do u want the kameez to go over the tube top.. Uncuriousify me

Tell him you want something like a shoulderless saari blouse. Best would be to just show a picture or give him a sample.

FF: problem is I don't have a sample, as the idea is still in my head :p, I was hoping someone on GS could help me find some clear pics...

Yeah I know…it’s hard to make them understand what you want. I made a skirt myself once, coz I was scared that my darzi would ruin the design…it turned out great though. Ohw and never ask them to make straight trousers for you, it will turn out like a straight shalwar or something…
