TTP willing to talk under guarantee from Nawaz, Fazal and Munawar Hasan

Re: TTP willing to talk under guarantee from Nawaz, Fazal and Munawar Hasan

If anyone needed a reason to be weary of the PMLn and Nawaz Sharif, then this endorsement from the Taliban should seal the deal I think.

Re: TTP willing to talk under guarantee from Nawaz, Fazal and Munawar Hasan

Ehsanullah is only the mouth piece. The real enemy is the one controlling his mouth.

Re: TTP willing to talk under guarantee from Nawaz, Fazal and Munawar Hasan

Yes
Who gives order to claim the responsibility of bomb under the car of Hamid Meer .

Re: TTP willing to talk under guarantee from Nawaz, Fazal and Munawar Hasan

Fazal has agreed to be guarantor where as JI has refused. N$ is still to speak up. I thought fourth guarantor would have been Tsunami Khan. Lately he is quiet regarding drone attacks.:)

Someone has very genuinely raised an objection that who would be guarantor of these "maut ke saudagar".

Taliban give names of top 3 parties which support them: PMLN, JUIF, JI

Taliban want to talk with ‘harmless’ preconditions, like release some of their prisoners FIRST.
And the guarantors they recommend are PMLN, JUI, JI.

So it is proven once again that PMLN is a party which supports Taliban. Actually, it is not surprising because earlier shahbaz himself declared that PMLN and Taliban have the same mission. And it is PMLN whose law minister goes around working with the khariji sectarian outfits like SSP.

Re: TTP willing to talk under guarantee from Nawaz, Fazal and Munawar Hasan

Imran Khan has always spoken about negotiations with the local FATA tribal warriors who are proper residents of the area...not these imported Afghani/Uzbek/so called TTP terrorists.

Imran already made his point regarding the drones via his walk to Waziristan, and since then, the issue has been plastered across world media. In case you are not following, UN has ordered an investigation into drone strikes carried out by the US.

Re: TTP willing to talk under guarantee from Nawaz, Fazal and Munawar Hasan

But he never condemned them. Aren't some of those tribals are also part of TTP? maut ke saudagar are operating from your so called warrior tribal living there. They can not operate unless they have support of these warriors.

Re: TTP willing to talk under guarantee from Nawaz, Fazal and Munawar Hasan

jaldi karo, Taleban Sharif to government.

Nawaz advises govt to immediately start peace talks with TTP – The Express Tribune

****LAHORE: Advising the government to take the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) peace-talks offer seriously, Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) Chief Nawaz Sharif said they should immediately start the process.
Nawaz was speaking to media in Lahore on Thursday.
The TTP expressed its willingness to enter peace negotiations on February 4 with the government if three senior politicians – Nawaz, the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman and Jamaat-e-Islami amir Syed Munawar Hasan – would act as guarantors.
Interior minister Rehman Malik claimed Nawaz had refused to be an insurer.
Criticising the government today for being unreliable, Nawaz said hardly anyone would agree to act as a guarantor for the process.
Calling for result-oriented negotiations, the PML-N chief said the country is in need of peace.

Re: TTP willing to talk under guarantee from Nawaz, Fazal and Munawar Hasan

He did, but he is too chickened to do it openly and clearly.

Re: TTP willing to talk under guarantee from Nawaz, Fazal and Munawar Hasan

So you want all tribals to be eliminated?

Re: TTP willing to talk under guarantee from Nawaz, Fazal and Munawar Hasan

What condemnations have we heard from Zardari? Its a long time I haven't even heard a word from him.

We have seen with our own eyes how the PPP dealt with Salman Taseer issue.

Re: TTP willing to talk under guarantee from Nawaz, Fazal and Munawar Hasan

He has done it, openly and clearly. The only difference is that our resident terrorism experts consider all FATA residents as terrorists, whereas Imran has made it clear that the foreign terrorists, who are targeting our army, our installations, our public, are the criminals. The FATA residents who are fighting the army are*** only fighting back***, which is natural, and something anyone and everyone would do, if they were attacked.
If the FATA residents are talked to, and care is taken not to hit them, then they will not fight the army. But our experts believe it is ok to carpet bomb the place, and send in the drones at the rate of 1 a minute. Based on that logic, Karachi should be nuked, as there is a criminal gang in virtually every corner of the city.

Re: TTP willing to talk under guarantee from Nawaz, Fazal and Munawar Hasan

We should not stoop to Zardari's level :D, he is far beyond the chicken definition, he can't roam around in public as normal leaders would do.

I can't find a statement where Imran condemned "Taliban" (TTP) esp after a terrorist attack, he criticized them indirectly, feel free to correct me and provide a statement to counter it. Last I remember when a journalist asked him 'who' he said that we have our political offices there and if name is taken the lives of the party officials will be in danger.

Re: TTP willing to talk under guarantee from Nawaz, Fazal and Munawar Hasan

The fact that with elections only a couple of months away, the talibans mysteriously and suddenly realize that Nawaz Shareef is the savior of Pakistan and that his presence is necessary for peace is very "thought-provoking".

Re: TTP willing to talk under guarantee from Nawaz, Fazal and Munawar Hasan

Why do you assume that? Read my first post.

Re: TTP willing to talk under guarantee from Nawaz, Fazal and Munawar Hasan

Isn’t Salman Taseer killer under custody and facing murder trail? Our corrupt and biased justice system is responsible for delaying the justice.

As regard Zardari, I think you have very short term memory:

**President, PM, political leaders condemn attack on Malala Yousafzai
**
**ISLAMABAD / KARACHI / WASHINGTON: Several political leaders, including President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, condemned the Taliban attack on National Peace Award winner Malala Yousafzai on Tuesday.
**
Malala, who has been honoured by the government with the National Peace Award, was injured along with two other girls when Taliban gunmen shot her while she was on her way home from school. The Taliban said that she was targeted for being “pro-West” and will be targeted again if she survives.

President Zardari, while expressing concerns about Malala’s well-being, directed the concerned authorities to provide best possible medical assistance to the injured girls. He added that the terrorists would never be able to shake the resolve of the nation through such dastardly acts and the nation will continue to fight against militants till its logical conclusion.

The prime minister condemned the incident and assured that the government will bear all medical expenses. He further directed the hospital authorities to provide best medical treatment to the injured. He also telephoned Malala’s father to express concern over the attack.

PM Ashraf also directed senior minister Makhdoom Amin Fahim to rush to Peshawar to convey the feelings of the president, PM, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Aseefa Bhutto Zardari and Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari.

Bilawal, in a statement, condemned the attack on Malala and said that the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) was an enemy of Pakistan, Islam and humanity. He called for those living in denial to wake up and stand united against the internal threats faced by Pakistan.

Terming the attack an act of a “sick mindset”, former prime minister Yousaf Raza Gilani, who had given Malala the peace award, said that such acts of terrorism were a reflection of barbarity, devoid of humanity and Islamic teachings.

The MQM chief termed the incident “blatant terrorism” and called for the perpetrators behind the act to be brought to justice. He appealed to the president, prime minister and Interior Minister Rehman Malik to take serious notice of the attack and take action against those involved.

Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) also issued a statement condemning the attack and terming it a “cowardice step”. The statement said that Malala kept receiving death threats but the government did not take any step to ensure her safety.

The party called for best medical assistance to the injured and demanded that the law enforcement agencies take strict action against those involved in this act.

Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif as well as Awami National Party (ANP) and Jamaat-i-Islami (JI) have also condemned the attack.

US State Department

The US State Department, condemning the incident, said that directing violence at children was an inconceivable act of barbarism and cowardice.

In a statement sent to The Express Tribune, State Department Spokesperson Laura Lucas said, “Our hearts go out to her and the others who were wounded, as well as their famili

No judge will pass a death sentence against Salman Taseers killer. Extremists and terrorists would murder said judge or force him into self imposed exile. The lawyers themselves are extremists.
